Webinar: Native Woodlands and their Communities, 14 March, 10.30-11.30am

Join us as we share our findings from the recent Native Woods Project - researching the social and economic benefits that arise from communities managing or owning native woodlands. 

This Community Woodlands Association webinar is aimed at members, staff and directors of community woodland groups and folks who would like to know a little more. Our Native Woods Project Officers, Di Oliver and Diane Campbell spent 6 months working with 4 CWA member groups, partner organisations and others in order to research and prepare a suite of case studies, a full report and work with a filmmaker to produce a series of films promoting and showcasing native community woodlands. The four woodland groups featuring in the project are: Arkaig Community Forest, Cormonachan Community Woodlands, Friends of Glenan Wood and Knoydart Forest Trust. There will be an opportunity to ask questions and have a brief discussion.
