Welcome to the CWA Group Members Map - with community enterprises

The map is made up of ‘layers’. The default map shows the location of all CWA member groups. To see the other layers:

  2. Deselect ‘CWA Group Members’

  3. Select the layer you’re interested in - see below

  • The main layer (green tree symbols) shows all CWA Group members. The trees symbols show the approximate locations of the woodlands/ groups . Zoom in on the map and click on a ‘tree’ to find out more information about a particular woodland or group (this layer gives the fullest information about the group/ woodland).

  • The community enterprise layers continue to be work in progress - information is uploaded to the map as we receive it from our members (via our survey). Check back soon to see how the picture develops!

There are 6 additional layers to the map - each layer (shown by different coloured stars) shows different types of community woodland enterprises:

  • Nature30 represents a fresh approach to conservation. They offer an alternative to traditional Protected Areas by recognising areas that deliver positive, sustained, and long-term outcomes for biodiversity, as a result of the land management, regardless of the primary objective of this management.
