Arkaig Community Forest: Tree Nursery Manager

Arkaig Community Forest (ACF) is a charity that is developing sustainable living for the local community whilst facilitating the restoration of native ecosystems. ACF owns land in the Loch Arkaig area and works in close partnership with neighbouring landowners and stakeholders to deliver its key aims and objectives. 

ACF is creating a native tree nursery to help meet the growing demand for local provenance native trees in the local area. The organisation is looking for a Tree Nursery Manager to continue the development and overall management of its newly established native tree nursery. The nursery is based at Clunes near Spean Bridge in the Scottish Highlands. 

This post will be a full time position at 37.5 hours per week at a salary of £25,000 pa pro rata. The successful applicant will work on a flexible timetable, working some evenings and weekends. The Tree Nursery Manager will report to a nominated member of the ACF board. This post may be considered as a job share, please state in your application if you are open to working as a job share, full time or open to either arrangement.
