Fund Raising Opportunities

With a bit of awareness raising and the help of your supporters, you can raise funds through:

easyfundraising

easyfundraising is a free and easy to use fundraising website that enables your woodland group to receive ongoing funding. 8,000 retailers including eBay, John Lewis, Tesco, Booking.com, M&S, Asda, Screwfix, Homebase, Argos, Moonpig, Boots, Sainsbury’s and trainline will donate money to you.

How it works - whenever your supporters and volunteers buy something online, the retailer sends your group a free donation based on how much they spend. It doesn’t cost anything extra as the retailer pays the donation, not the shopper. Anything from a weekly grocery shop to a family holiday can generate a free donation.

Here’s an example - your volunteer Chris is taking his family on a day out by train. Instead of visiting the Trainline website, Chris heads to easyfundraising’s website first and then clicks on the Trainline link.  easyfundraising directs Chris to Trainline, where he books his tickets. Because Chris started at easyfundraising first, your group receives a free donation directly from Trainline, at no extra cost to Chris.

 What do other members think?

“Quite often community projects have limited time and resources to gather funding and create fundraising opportunities. easyfundraising is a great way of doing it with little fuss!”
