CWA welcomes 2 new staff members.

We are delighted to welcome two new staff members to the CWA team!

Piers Voysey & Amanda Calvert both join us as Senior Woodland Officers. Each of them will provide in-depth community development & land management advice & assistance to community woodland groups and other CWA member organisations.

Piers has been forester at Rothiemurchus since 2010, but a varied career has seen him supporting community forestry projects from Papua New Guinea to Grantown-on-Spey, where he worked with the Anagach Woods Trust and served as a CWA director.

Amanda has worked in the environmental, community and small woodland sector for around 20 years with a particular interest in low impact woodland management. Her spare time is taken up with heritage and traditional crafts and gardening.
