CWA: Senior Woodland Officer
The Community Woodlands Association is seeking a passionate and committed professional community forester to support the continued development of the community woodland movement.
The Senior Woodland Officer will provide in-depth community development and land management advice and assistance to community woodland groups and other CWA member organisations, and will support the CEO in promoting and representing the community woodland sector.
The ideal candidate will have a strong community background, with proven experience in all aspects of sustainable forestry practice. You will be innovative, resilient and self-motivated, and able to communicate effectively in a wide range of contexts.
Salary £32,000-35,000 pro rata (depending on experience).
3 days / 21 hours per week to 31 March 2021, with extension subject to funding.
The post-holder will work from home (computer facilities provided if required), with travel (e.g. site visits to community woods) as necessary and safely possible.
CWA is open to proposals for secondment from other organisations.
