Kinlochleven Community Trust: Health & Well-being Project Officer (part time)
Kinlochleven Community Trust have received funding for a new project ‘Bridging the Gap’ through the HTSI administered Highland Mental Health and Well-being Fund. This project aims to improve health and well-being by providing opportunities for participation in outdoor nature-based initiatives and programmes. The Trust is seeking a Health and Well-being Project Officer to work part time over a 12 month period.
Key priorities will involve:
Encouraging and enabling participation in outdoor green health activities and initiatives that improve the physical and emotional health and wellbeing of Kinlochleven residents.
Developing the Trust’s signposting abilities by creating strong partnerships with key agencies, stake holders and other community organisations to ensure connectivity across Lochaber.
Coordinating the implementation, development and evaluation of robust and high-quality health and well-being provision in the form of Green Health prescription and referral pathways with partners and work with individually with those participating in the initiative.
Supporting the creation of an in-house health and well-being training programme for practitioners, staff and volunteers.
